Outdoor recreation education combines a core of outdoor education, environmental studies, safety in outdoor environments, leadership studies, and 160 days of practical experience with specialisations preparing for careers in outdoor recreation and school camps. Practical electives include bushwalking, rock climbing, cross-country skiing and paddling, developing knowledge of the Bendigo region, Victorian Alps, Grampians and Murray River system.
