Special Purpose Visa
The Special Purpose visa is a temporary visa that allows individuals with a 'prescribed status' to enter and stay in Australia. It's essential to note that applicants do not need to apply for this visa; it is granted automatically to those who have the specified status. This visa serves various purposes, depending on the holder's prescribed status. It allows you to undertake your regular work in Australia, such as military duties, or to arrive as an airline crew member.
The Special Purpose visa is granted to individuals with a ‘prescribed status.’ To qualify for this visa, you must fall into one of the following categories:

Accompanying spouses, de facto partners, or dependent relatives of eligible armed forces members listed on the members’ military travel orders are also eligible.
One of the notable advantages of the Special Purpose visa is that there is no application charge associated with it. It’s automatically granted to eligible individuals.
