The Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300) is intended for individuals who wish to marry their prospective spouse in Australia. This temporary visa allows you to stay in Australia for a specific period before getting married.
With the Subclass 300 – Prospective Marriage Visa, you have the following privileges:
- Travel to and stay in Australia for a duration ranging from 9 to 15 months from the visa grant date.
- Work and study in Australia.
- Travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while the visa is valid.
The cost for this visa starts from AUD8,850.00.
This is a temporary visa.
You must intend to marry your prospective spouse before the visa period ends.
You must be 18 years old or older.
You must have a sponsor who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen.
You must be outside of Australia when you apply for this visa.
